Cubs & Cups, Pets friendly cafe at Desa Sri Hartamas

Harlo Cubs & Cups!

It's been a long time i didn't bring my furkids went to pets friendly restaurants, why?

1. My Princess V is very noisy and keep barking *shame la!*

2. My Golden Dou Dou although looks like large breed (she is large breed indeed), but she afraid of.... DOG ==! so she will keep hide and seek hide and seek repeatedly in that restaurant.

3. Pets friendly restaurants always have some pets UNfriendly customers, what's for i come and pay also but have to look at your smelly face and rude words?!

So, i decided let them to stay home since there are no good dog foods for them to eat at pets friendly restaurant also LoL!

Until, i heard Cubs & Cups is open by Koreans and they have the rules which is quite protecting our furkids =)

My first sight ~ well said!

Pets welcome, People tolerated.

*please don't ignore this sentence when you step into a pets FRIENDLY restaurant.

Read their house rules before get in to avoid any unhappy incident happen.

For pet owners, be responsible ok! don't let your pet pee pee and poo poo everywhere without cleaning after that, because....

Simple and casual environment.

Cola, is their pretties PR hahaha! She loves to mingle around and i believes 80% customers come here because of her, OMG she is so fluffy and cute! Even though she is tired and sleeping on the floor, peoples still posing her to take picture and she just... "i don't care, i want to sleep" hahaha! *PR work tough huh =P*

Honestly i think RM 32 for this is quite costly, taste is just so so but because this is pets friendly cafe, i don't care la! LoL!

Golden Dou Dou was very scare and hide under the table, why?

Cola was holding her leash, hahahahaha!

Both of them were playing hide and seek, Cola love to chasing her.

This naughty girl cannot off leash because she must run away and i can't find her anymore, so her ending is.... 12938402 seconds sit on my mum's leg and bark bark bark when dogs come around. ==!

I like this cafe, it makes me missing of the BAU House in Korea. The dogs can enjoy their freedom and mingle around at that cafe, you can check my blog here

There are always unhappy incident happened in pets friendly cafe, such as parents will bring their child to dine in but dislike dogs come and afraid of dirtiness and all that. I asked some of them before : "If you scare this and that, why bring your child go to pets friendly cafe." They told me because their kids wish to TOUCH dogs, hey... touch dogs please go pets shop la! Do you know when my dogs mingle around and may be go to your table, you dislike it and shout or scream or being rude to me. Where is your manners HUMAN?

Please pay attention if you want to visit Cubs& Cups :

- NO aggressive dogs

- Clean up after your pet

- Children must be SUPERVISED

- NO feeding other than your own pet

- Owners are responsible for their pets at ALL TIME.

Furkids Day @ Pet Fiesta

It's seem like long time didn't bring them go to pets fair, i can't bring them go alone especially at pets fair, Princess V always out of my control (she will barking to kids). Heard that Pet Fiesta held on 10-12 Apr, ask along my sister and her bf and yesh! we went there yesterday!!!

Our first time to go Pet Fiesta and i do not know large breed dog is not allow to go indoor and small breed have to hand carry, i bought tickets (RM5/adult) before pass by main entrance, nobody tell me this and no notice show up at ticket counter(no shown ticket price also). haiz...i bought 3 tickets, waste my money!!! There are pets stroller for rent but it is only available for small and medium breeds and gosh their rental is RM80! OMG!!! why don't you snatch my wallet straight away?!!! End up, i bring Princess V go in to buy some snacks and we chilled out at outside.

Unexpected Princess V didn't bark to kids when those kiddos pass by her and touch her head also! i was shocked when i saw kids touch her head because this fierce princess will immediately attack one! God bless that she still pretending as a doll and let kids touch her and take picture. Good girl =)

Annual Furry Princesses Trip to the beach! Part 2

Second day at Cherating, we went to the town take away Mcdonald and Chatime as our lunch. Chatime tearoom is located at Teluk Cempedak, there are about 1 hour driving distance from my chalet.But since we got nothing to do in the afternoon, so we decided heading to grab some foods for our snacks or dinner. Teluk Cempedak is the famous beach in Kuantan and there are a lots of international hotel and beachfront cafe (Starbucks and Chatime) or fast-food restaurant (KFC, Mcdonald and Burger King). We only able to go for drive thru because with this 2 babies, dog is prohibited to this area due to a lot of Malays here.

We back to our chalet to had fast-food lunch, LoL! wait until 3pm (hmm the sun is still big big and big!!) , anyhow we don't care! we don't want to waste the time and the sunlight , apply the strongest sunblock and let's go!

From my picture, you can see i was carrying a lots of things right? Ok, this is my gadget ~

* Life Jackets ( Must have! i don't care how potential your dog can swim, it is a very basic safety guide because you cannot approximate when is the sea wave become strong or weak, and you can't always watch out since this is sea, but not a small small swimming pool)

* Water ( Must have! to avoid heatstroke )

* Leash ( For dog can't swim well, you can put the leash on their life jacket and let them swim into sea, so it won't run away and you can make sure their safety)

* Floating toy

Dangers Dogs May Be Exposed to at the Beach

Effects of Salt Water

If excess salt water accumulates in your dog’s intestines, it can cause “beach diarrhea.” Symptoms include drooling, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea (sometimes severe). There may also be blood or mucous in your dog’s feces.

Ingesting high concentrations of salt water can also raise the sodium levels in your dog’s bloodstream to unsafe levels. This is known as “hypernatremia.” It is a serious condition that may result in seizures, coma, and sometimes even death, due to swelling in the brain.

To limit the amount of water being swallowed, bring your dog in the shade every 15 minutes and provide fresh water.

Effects of Sun Exposure

Dogs with short hair, white fur and pink skin are most vulnerable to sun exposure. Just like people, dogs can burn, but human sunscreen can be toxic. It is best to use sunscreen specifically formulated for dogs or use a child-safe sun lotion approved by your vet.

Effects of Swimming

Swimming is also quite tiring, so be sure your dog doesn't overdo it. Don't allow your dog in the water if there are strong tides or rip currents. Because salt water may irritate your pet's skin and because your dog is an easy target for sea lice and jelly fish, be sure to rinse your dog thoroughly after a dip in the ocean.

The Effects of Heat

Dogs can develop heat exhaustion if exposed to the heat for too long without shade. Be aware that running in the sand is tiring and can lead to exhaustion and leg sprains. Some dogs tend do over do it, especially when they have residual pent up energy. Keep in mind that dogs may over heat even when in the water.

Other Hidden Threats

Sand granules in the eyes may cause irritation, eye pain and redness. Should this occur, flush the eye with fresh water. If the eye does not get better, consult your vet, it may be a corneal ulcer. Also be sure to prevent your dog from eating sand, shells, starfish or stones. They can cause serious intestinal obstructions or upset stomach.

Please Please! These are easily to do, please take good care of your dog and let them enjoy a very happy vacation ok?

Both of them afraid the sea waves, so only can play and run at the beach. But i drove 3 hours to here, how come they can't goes to swim? hehehe... later you will know how i bring them go into the sea *evil smile*
